Arashiyama Hanatouro and Bamboo Forest Walkways (嵐山花灯路、竹林の小径) in 2017

Arashiyama Hanatouro is another Hanatouro in Kyoto. In late autumn, huge numbers of lanterns and lights illuminate Arashiyama area. Some temples and shrines hold illumination as well.<Web: http://www.hanatouro.jp/e/arashiyama/index.html>

Please check my blog of another Hanatouro, Higashiyama Hanatouro, that was held in Spring season.

Bamboo Forest Walkways are lit up as well. You can feel good atmosphere even with so many people.

Those pillars are called Kimono Forest. It is a collection of gorgeous cylinder-shaped pillars framing the lane way to Randen tram station on Kyoto’s Keifuku Arashiyama line. The illumination is not only hanatouro's time though, I recommend you to stop over.
